Watch your language Mr Geek!

One of the computer techs for our online store was remotely dialling into the computers to gain access to troubleshoot a problem today . I was on the phone to him at the same time when he caused me to feel rather disturbed.

Brett: “So are you ready to gain access to the system?”

Geek: “I am just going into your ‘back end’ now so I can fix you up”.

*as if this initial exchange wasn’t bad enough…..

Brett: “how come you dropped out?” ( the connection)

Geek: ” I am not sure why, but I am going to dive into your back end again and get right to the bottom of the problem.

The scary part was he had no idea how he was coming across and will probably say this to every customer!
